What We Do
It is our vision to see a community where HIV infections are rare, and when they do occur; everyone with HIV has access to care, treatment and support to achieve optimal health and self-sufficiency without stigma or discrimination. Your Sexual, Physical and Emotional Health is our priority.

Whether you have a new HIV diagnosis or are looking to get back into care for an existing diagnosis, we’ll work with you to make sure you understand your HIV diagnosis. We will discuss HIV transmission, laboratory tests to track progress, choosing and managing of HIV medications, and expected frequency of medical appointments. Primary care services are available to established patients with insurance.

Each year, hundreds of volunteers help Nashville CARES work toward our mission of ending the HIV epidemic in Middle Tennessee.
Volunteers support virtually every program at Nashville CARES including Nutrition, Fundraising, Education, Administration, and Special Events.
